The Oxenberg Brothers established their reputation for quality in Brooklyn in the 1920's. Spearheaded by William, the oldest, they sought out the finest salmon available and prepared it under the cleanest conditions to provide a line of smoked fish specialties. Following the migration of our customer base to South Florida in the 1950's, we found even greater success because of dedication to superior quality products and incomparable service.

Still a family owned company, the third and fourth generation Oxenbergs are totally immersed in the management of every aspect of the company today. That same sense of dedication, begun almost a century ago, is responsible for our continued success and growth. Recognizing the changes in our customers, SeaSpecialties Inc has grown to include more sophisticated fish specialties, so that today we are one of the largest manufacturers and distributors of smoked fish and seafood in the country, satisfying all our customers from supermarket retailers to cruise ships to the local delicatessen to the finest white table cloth dining rooms in the western hemisphere. In that effort we now maintain offices or production facilities in the Midwest, West Coast and Northeast in addition to several cities in Florida, including our headquarters office and plant facility in Miami.

In order to further provide our customers with all their seafood needs, SeaSpecialties Inc also expanded into fresh and frozen seafood in the 1980's. At SeaSpecialties Inc Seafood Division, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, we maintain the same high standards established in our Smoked Fish Division. Working directly with fishermen at the source, we provide an extensive array of seasonal favorites. We accept the challenges of our customers to source the very best and transport it under ideal conditions in a timely manner to assure our customers the finest and freshest seafood products available.
